A true Shredit is under 3 minutes and makes people want to watch it over and over, not a 5+ minute monstrosity that people stop halfway through.

Most importantly though, there is only thing separating a ShitEdit and a ShrEdit and that is the riding.

ShrEdit.tv is all about your footage !!

The idea behing the site is that we want to bring together all of the content thats out there already on youtube, vimeo, facebook etc etc and make it all accessible to the world via one simple site.

We are thinking about every month running competitions in conjunction with monthly sponsors for the best ShrEdits (based on ratings, comments and the sponsors favourite)by the public), so if you submit a ShrEdit make sure it matches the rules above and that you share the link with all your friends and get them to rate and comment, the prizes will be well worth it !!

(OK you might see the odd film from UK “pro editors” but they are here cause they rock … and they won’t be entered into any of the competitions.)

ShrEdit.tv has some basic features that make it soooo easy to find and share content with the world …..

How do you get your content onto the site so the world can see it ? Simples ….. just upload your content as you normally would to vimeo, youtube, facebook etc, then go to the Submit your ShrEdit page and fill in the form with as much info as possible, we then do the rest !!

So how do i use the site ….. ?

The site is designed to be easy to use, if you can’t work it out, click stuff, it helps !!!!  …. if you dont think it is, tell us and we will try to improve it !!

Most important is that when you have watched a ShrEdit, rate it using the star rating system at the bottom of every ShrEdit page so that the ratings can be calculated for the monthly prizes, you can also “Like or Dislike” a ShrEdit using the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons, if you do like a video an option to share it on Facebook will available when you click like (please do share, it helps spread the word !!), and finally you can comment on ShrEdits, there is a comments box at the bottom of every ShrEdit page and to keep things secure you have to login (2 second job) this is done via your Facebook login (just click the facebook button) and again, you can share your comments on Facebook (please do!!)
